Влияние старения населения на экономический рост в странах Восточной Азии
Аннотация
Предмет. Экономическая значимость Восточной Азии в мире продолжает расти, однако регион сталкивается с проблемой стремительного старения населения, способного препятствовать его развитию. В связи с этим данный демографический кризис требует пристального внимания.
Цели. Определить количественное влияние старения на экономический рост в странах Восточной Азии, выявить различия между странами и установить периоды положительного и отрицательного демографического дивиденда и историческую точку перелома данного влияния.
Методология. В исследовании применялись аналитические, статистические и эконометрические методы. Был проведён анализ широкого круга источников: научные журналы, книги и статистические сборники.
Результаты. Выявлена степень старения населения в странах Восточной Азии. Проанализирована корреляция между экономическими и демографическими показателями в странах региона. Построена эконометрическая модель для оценки взаимосвязи демографических и экономических показателей стран и региональной группы за 1990‑2019 гг., что позволило количественно оценить первый демографический дивиденд, полученный каждой страной, его положительное либо отрицательное воздействие.
Выводы. Исследование демонстрирует углубление кризиса старения населения в странах Восточной Азии. С 1990-х гг. доля пожилого населения в регионе стабильно растёт, а Япония стала страной с самым старым населением в регионе. В целом, рост доли трудоспособного населения стимулирует увеличение ВВП на душу населения. Однако по мере усугубления старения первый демографический дивиденд в странах Восточной Азии постепенно исчезает, а текущая демографическая ситуация накладывает все более выраженные ограничения на экономический рост.
