Dominant principles of fisheries strategizing of the Crimea
Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of regional development - the justification of the dominant principles of the fisheries strategizing of the Crimea. The article has a causal relationship to the degradation of the fisheries complex of the Republic of Crimea. It is proved that the change of state affiliation of the peninsula laid the foundation for solving the problems of fisheries of the Crimea, whose importance is reinforced by its role in ensuring food security and possibilities of import substitution, the policy of which was adopted in 2014 after the introduction of reciprocal sanctions by Russia and Western countries. It is argued that the mission, strategic objectives and choice of fisheries strategic alternatives development of the Crimea should focus on global trends in fisheries management, presented in two independent sectors such as fisheries and fish farming. The authors proved that for the competitiveness of domestic fish products as priority strategic alternatives for the fisheries development of the Crimea, it is advisable to adopt the strategy of concentrated growth focused on primary development of marine aquaculture.
