Abstract

Specification of the signaling theory on Russian labor market is discussed in the article. Authors present basic points of the signaling theory and analyze interaction of Russian labor market and market of professional education. Several important problems are touched upon: excessive demand for education, unequal access to professional education for different social groups of population, accelerated development of the most risky types of education, etc. Authors study labor market of information technologies specialists and show the growth of the role of additional types of education for successful career.
