Investment activity in agriculture of Russia

Abstract

Condition, dynamics and results of investment activity in the Russian agriculture in 2000-s are analyzed. The conclusion is drawn on the positive trends in the development of agricultural material-andtechnical base as well as the necessity to further activate investment activity for the purpose of overcoming the negative consequences of global fi nancial and economic crisis and achieving the sustainable development of agricultural sector for the long run.
