In this paper we present the overview of main researches about firm strategy in two-sided markets. Platform as an intermediary between two groups of agents connected with indirect network effects should not only set prices but also balance it correctly. However besides price setting platform has to take other important decisions, which determine its main strategy and as a result profit. For example, firm sets the level of investment into inherent value of the platform, choses the way of agent connection or the number of platform versions to supply.
