The role of human capital in the innovation development of Russian economy

Abstract

The article is devoted to substantiating the role of human development for the Russian model of the economy based on innovations. The paper summarizes the external and internal factors that influence the innovative development of the economy. The analysis of the level of human development in Russia in comparison with the countries of the world is carried out. An assessment of the development of innovations and their implementation in the Russian economy was carried out. The main indicators of innovative activity of organizations in Russia are analyzed. In the course of the analysis, problems were identified that hampered the effective use of human capital. The need for institutional and structural reforms is substantiated, without which it will be difficult to increase the efficiency of the use of human capital in Russia.
