Abstract

The article explores the main types of innovation strategies, and presents the documents initiating the creation and the formation of the innovative programs of state-owned electricity industry. Revealed position of Russia and the industry in innovation activity. Briefly examine the main problems faced by the domestic industry. Investigated the perspective directions and technologies of the development of the industry. Provides General requirements for the efficiency of production processes, a significant improvement of which is achieved through the implementation of innovative programs. Analyzed innovative programs of several state-owned companies play an important role in the industry.
