Abstract

We consider the task of analyzing the correspondence of pairs “seller-buyer” from the class of matching tasks (matching problems). In contrast to the classic ranking of pairs, a standardized digital measure of compliance is proposed. The construction of the measure is based on the formalization of the concepts “seller’s offer” and “buyer’s need” as a vector of characteristic parameters, the values of which are set as fuzzy logical statements. A procedure is proposed for aggregating fuzzy values of characteristic parameters into a normalized numerical assessment of compliance. The introduced measure of compliance allows for a detailed analysis of the pairs “seller-buyer” and in the future to expand the range of methods for solving problems of matching. An example of the numerical implementation of the analysis of various pairs of «seller-buyer» using the proposed measure of conformity, illustrating the implementation of procedures for formalizing the proposals of sellers and the needs of customers, as well as the algorithm for calculating the measure is given.
