Abstract
In the article is considered the evolution of supply chain management and value chain management in the context of inter-firm relations. The main approaches and concepts of the last decades, in particular, strategic supplier relationship management, are given. The focus is on the strategic value of partners, mechanisms for joint creation of value. Sequence of stages the process of joint value creation in B2B relationships is presented.
