Abstract

The article contains the results of Voronezh region strategic analysis. In case of an assessment of opportunities and threats of the Voronezh region the iterative technology is applied. At the first stage the indicators characterizing strong, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are analysed. The basis for their identification - research of earlier published data in scientific literature and official documents. The second stage - the analysis of statistical data of the region and its potential competitors. The third stage - an expert evaluation representatives of various institutional groups: public authorities, local government bodies, institutes of civil society, large business, small and medium business. The received results of the strategic analysis are demanded in the solution of a number of the key tasks connected with development of strategy of development of the Voronezh region, among which: establishment of its relative competitive advantages, missions, strategic objectives and tasks of social and economic development.
